Texas-born artist and designer Lauren Bahr began building sets for theater productions in middle school. She went on to study costume design and acting in college, and has been working in the fashion industry for over a decade.
Lauren honed her skills under Shona Heath and Amy Henry before serving as Creative Director of Anne Koch Studios.
With her own practice, Lauren strives to add texture, dimensionality and atmosphere to the given environment, elevating each shoot into a story, a character, a performance. She counts Armani Exchange, Under Armour, and Bloomingdale's among her clients, and her work has appeared in CR Fashion Book, V Magazine, GQ, and Elle Mexico.
Lauren's interests include art history, curating her visual inspiration blog, and collecting bizarre plants. She is based in NYC and is available to travel worldwide.
