Basia Zamorska is trusted by celebrities, musicians, editors and commercial clients for her years of experience and sharp creative eye. Born in Nottingham, Great Britain, Basia completed a BA in French and German literature at London University before unleashing her passion for fashion and music as a stylist in the London band scene, where she shaped the look for groups including Frankie Goes to Hollywood. Basia also freelanced for London Sunday Times magazine and Harper's Bazaar, which brought her to New York in 1990. She became stylist to Christie Brinkley and Billy Joel, working on everything from Cover Girl commercials to awards show appearances. From 1992 to 1993 she was Mariah Carey's stylist, and since then has worked with actress Bridget Moynahan and singer Joss Stone. Valued for her unique perspective, Basia has written on the psychology of dressing, especially regarding ordinary people's relationship with clothes and music, and the connection between the two.
